Artist Statement
My practice works at the seam between remembrance and making. I follow an automatic impulse - marks arrive before words and
the canvases become places where memory, grief and small domestic miracles meet.
Drawing from personal loss, quiet rituals, and the textures of ordinary life, I build atmospheres more than literal narratives: lantern - glows in currents, blankets folded against wind, ribbons that map a route between ground and sky.
Each piece is an attempt to hold what is vanished and to imagine return: to make tenderness visible and to let feeling live as material. In these works, paint is both map and promise.
